MATTHEW J. SERRA

Matthew is a musician, composer, producer, cultural musicologist, and educator from Pennsylvania.  He has studied music and sound from a variety of perspectives and environments:  as a performer, a creator, an engineer, and a researcher.  Matthew has studied traditional flamenco guitar in Spain, composed scores for films and games, produced and recorded genre-defying music, and toured North America and Europe playing guitar in the avant-garde rock band Kayo Dot.  Matthew recently achieved his Master of Arts in Durham, England, where he studied ethnomusicology and composition.  He now studies traditional flamenco guitar accompaniment at Artes Escénicas Rebollar in Seville, Spain.
